OUR COMPANY

We are a small independent publishing company. What we do and who we are is detailed in a question-and-answer format. A personal, one-on-one working relationship is what we offer to authors. No shuffling from one department to another or talking to a different person every time you contact us. When Was Learn-A-Lesson Books Publishing Established? 

Learn-A-Lesson Books Publishing was established in 2011 to give authors an opportunity to put their voice before the public. We publish children's books, fiction and non-fiction novels, biography, poetry, technical books and other books subject to approval of content.

We do more than publish books. We can provide consulting, editing, marketing, interior design, and layout services for authors needing help getting their manuscripts ready for print.


Why Was Learn-A-Lesson Books Publishing Established?

Because everyone has a story they want to tell. It may have come from a real life experience, knowledge gained through employment, study or a hobby. It may have come from an idea, a deep-seated belief, philosophy or a need to express your individuality. It can be factual or fictional. It could have been passed down through a family's history or newly-born around a campfire.
 
We are all storytellers. Most stories are told to others, either person-to-person or to a group, to share a daily life happening. Some stories are written for ourselves or family and friends only. And then, some stories find themselves on bookstore shelves or as an e-book on the internet for the whole world to enjoy.

 
What Is A Learn-A-Lesson Book?

Simply put, every book holds a lesson! The lesson comes from a fact, a character's circumstance, mastering a technique, overcoming a challenge or teaching a new or different point of view. Learn-A-Lesson fictional book characters should possess lifeskills that the reader can identify. (Click Lifeskills or select the tab above to read about these lifeskills in detail.)
